Geocaching Roznik

No more ideas for morning hiking. Ok, then lets do some geocaching. There is an abandoned ski jump on Rožnik, Ljubljana. The only remain is inrun tower. In old days there were wooden stair, but the dont exist anymore, so we were forced to brought our own ladder. Geocache, called Sniper's Nest, was hidden on the very top of the tower.
Besides that we also logged Stara skakalnica / Old ski jump and Storžy 2

Changes are welcome, so this time oldest attendees were responsible for carrying ladder.

Bivak na Stebrasti skali

Alojz Žakelj, resident of Jesenice, know by his shelter on Stebrasta skala (Pilar rock). He is a special guy, he loves montains, so he built this shelter by himself. Watch the a short movie about him and his life, Blue is the sky.
We had this destination in our heads for a while. Since the weather was good and we usually can not sleep at night, we did it today. About 40 minuts took us to the shelter, a quick photo session, geocache and descent back to Jesenice. It was my exam tour, but I failed since i missed turn or something, not sure. Tusi, Grega and Nada know more what I did wrong :).

Jelenkamen w/ breakfast

Every year, that was the second time :), we organize breakfast somewhere above the valley. This time Nada was leader and she chose Jelenkamen. 1 hour, 20 minuts and almost 500 meter of ascent seemed perfect. We started in Jesenice early in the morning (4am) and reached the summit at around 5:15. We ate breakfast, descent to valley and went to work.

Climbing Preddvor

I think it's been more than a year. That's right, to get some time and start climbing. We decided to go to Preddvor. Since most of us were more or less beginners we started with easier ones like Tinkara or Martinova gos.
For better atmosphere Goran and Peter brought us some beers. Peter's were homemade.

Storzic, planina Javornik, Kalisce

Since hike to Babji zob was successful, I just needed more, like always :). One trail to Storzic hasn't  been done yet, so it was perfect timing to do that. Storzic (2132 m) is the highest mountain in the western part of the Kamnik–Savinja Alps and named by  the shape cone of its top (Slovene: storž).
I started in Baselj, early in the morning. After two and a half hours I reached summit. Trail took me towards planina Javornik, from their to mountain hut on Kalisce and then back to my car, parked in Baselj.
