Ferrata Ceska koča

Since we were not able to do some climbing/hiking after picnic, which was organized by my ex-company Aviat network, for its 10 years anniversary, me and Marijan did it today, before work.

We started with our trip at around 4:30am from Ravenska kočna, Jezersko. It takes us about 30 minutes from parking to get to starting point of ferrata. Via ferrata is an Italian expresion from an iron road. This is a with iron protected climbing route, which can be found in the Alps and certain other locations.

And finally after hour and half at our destination Česka koča  mountain hut. It is located 1543 m above the sea level on the flatter ground called Spodnje Ravni under the northern walls of Mt. Grintovec. It was built in 1900 by the Czech branch of Slovene Mountaineering Association in Prague after which the hut was named.
After a short stop it was already time to descent to the starting point and go to work.
